Start a new relationship with yourself

Let's do this!

Anchor 1

What's good?

To inspire and welcome authenticity in session, I show up unapologetically myself; tattooed, anime references at the ready, always knowing what the planets are doing, and having my chaotic coworker of a fur child named Blaze who will likely insert himself into our sessions. In the same way I want you to be truthful and open, I ensure to create a space for you to feel safe and heard. I display that in my work with you, and welcome all parts of you in our work!

I KNOW THAT YOU'D LIKE TO BE MORE GENUINE IN YOUR RELATIONSHIPS, AND SPEAK TO YOUR RELATIONAL AND SEXUAL NEEDS. BUT FEAR OF JUDGEMENT AND DISAPPOINTING OTHERS HOLD YOU BACK

The core of my work is the development of connection, communication, and self-empowerment. I help develop an intentional awareness about what’s happening inside, so that it can become easier for you to make decisions about what’s happening on your outsides and begin to make choices about the way you interact with the world. To do so, I work from a social justice perspective, recognizing how systems of white supremacy, patriarchy, and oppression influence the health and wellbeing of underserved and marginalized folx, and how to cultivate joy and pleasure into everyday life in light of these systems.

Therapy Specialties

Sexual Wellness & Confidence

Whether you're exploring your sexuality or looking to rekindle the spark, I provide guidance on how to navigate intimacy with greater confidence and satisfaction.

Relationship Anxiety

Are you overwhelmed by uncertainty, jealousy, or fear of abandonment? Together, we can uncover the root of these feelings and build healthier emotional patterns.

Non-Monogamy & Polyamory

I work with relationally expansive individuals and couples who are navigating polyamory, open relationships, and other non-monogamous structures. Let’s explore the nuances of communication, boundaries, and trust.

Queer & Gender-Affirming Therapy

As a queer, Black therapist, I understand the importance of creating a space where LGBTQIA+ individuals can feel seen, heard, and affirmed. My work centers around your experiences and identities in a world that may often feel unwelcoming.

Building Boundaries & Cultivating Self-Worth

Learn to cultivate boundaries that nurture your needs and stop the cycle of codependency. I’ll help you build a stronger relationship with yourself, so you can show up as your best self in relationships.

Don't let your "what if?" hinder you

I offer an inclusive space for individuals and couples to explore their relationships, sexual wellness, and emotional health. My approach is grounded in empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a deep understanding of the challenges that come with navigating relationships in today's world. Whether you're experiencing anxiety within your partnership/friendships/family, or struggling with codependency, I help you gain the tools you need to feel more empowered in your life and in your relationships of all kinds.

Together, we’ll explore how different life experiences, like family dynamics and societal challenges, may have led to putting your needs aside. We’ll create space for your voice to be heard and valued. Using a mix of practical tools and a focus on understanding emotions and relationships, I encourage you to slow down and explore the stories you've been living by. This process can help you regulate emotions, clarify your values, and regain a sense of control. I value collaboration, participation, willingness, and engagement, and my hope is that our time together helps you feel more connected, empowered, and clear about your choices.

How I can help you

Teletherapy Across Pennsylvania

I offer online therapy for clients throughout Pennsylvania, giving you the convenience and comfort of virtual sessions from your own home.

Incorporating Cultural Awareness

As a Black queer therapist, I acknowledge the importance of cultural identity and intersectionality. Our work together will consider how your experiences with race, gender, and sexuality shape your relationship dynamics.

Holistic, Compassionate Approach

Therapy with me is about healing and growth. Together, we’ll look at the mind-body connection, how past experiences inform your present relationships, and how you can move forward in a more authentic and fulfilling way. Additionally when appropriate, I use astrology and tarot informed techniques for those who benefit from this framework.

Background

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Creative Writing and Psychology from Franklin & Marshall College, and completed my Master’s Degree in Counseling at Arcadia University. My clinical training focused on providing trauma informed care, my particular population being young adults in higher education. After completing my degree, I worked as a staff therapist at a Philly university helping undergraduate and graduate students navigate anxiety, depression, stress, COVID, and institutional inequities. I then worked in a group practice and received certifications in being a kink-informed and non-monogamy informed clinician, focusing my work on relationships and sex and cultivating joy and pleasure. Populations I work well with are BIPOC & queer/gender/TGNC communities, young adults, undergraduate and graduate students, alternative spiritualities, geeks and nerds, and I'm sex-positive, polyamory/CNM and kink/BDSM affirming and trained, and pro-SW.
