I have implemented an anti-oppressive rate structure for therapy services, designed to accommodate a range of financial circumstances. This sliding scale allows clients who are financially privileged to pay at the higher end of the scale, while those facing financial strain can access reduced rates. This system ensures that therapy remains accessible to all, while allowing me to sustain my practice and serve my community.

**Reduced Fees for BIPOC Queer and/or Trans Communities**

Reduced fees start at $75 per session (not including the intake session rate), with limited availability based on my schedule. While I aim to offer these reduced rates to as many individuals and partners as possible, I cannot accommodate everyone at this rate due to the need to maintain financial sustainability. If immediate availability is not possible, we will add you to a waitlist and contact you as soon as a spot opens. All clinicians in our practice are part of the Queer and/or Trans BIPOC community.

To access reduced fee therapy, please reach out through my contact form. You will also have the option to schedule a consultation with me to discuss if we are a good fit for each other and explore your availability for sessions. I will respond to your inquiry 1-3 business days.

Please note that I do not require income verification (such as tax documents or pay stubs). Instead, I trust you to honestly determine what you can afford and select a rate within your budget. You can share your preferred rate during the phone consultation and adjust it later if needed.

Superbill Process for Out-Of-Netetwork Benefits

Information about Superbills

A superbill is a document that contains information about the services you received during a therapy session, including the date of the service, the type of service, a diagnosis and the cost of the service. When you pay for a therapy session out-of-pocket, you can request a superbill from your therapist, which you can then submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.

To use a superbill, you will need to submit it to your insurance provider along with any other required documentation, such as a claim form. Your insurance provider will then review the superbill and other documents to determine the amount of reimbursement you are eligible for. It’s important to note that not all insurance providers cover out-of-network services, so it’s important to check your insurance plan to see if you are eligible for reimbursement. Additionally, the amount of reimbursement can vary depending on your specific insurance plan and the type of service you received, so it’s a good idea to talk to your insurance provider to understand what costs will be covered and what you will need to pay out-of-pocket. â€‹
